Disclaimer!!!: anxiety is a serious mental health condition that I and many others live with. Spells are GREAT, but are not a replacement for therapy and medical treatment.
That being said, let’s get started. To put together this spell jar I would suggest
Honey ( happiness, joy, vitality)
Lavender (calm, relaxation, rest)
Mint ( calm, focus, relaxation)
Basil (reaching your goals, good luck)
Hearth/ campfire ashes (safety, homey feelings)
A reminder of a positive moment ( a little paper with a note written on it serves this job well)
Somthing to represent yourself ( a poppet, some hair, a picture, even somthing with your name on it can work)
A container ( bottler, mason jar)
A candle or wax melted (optional)
To construct
Place the poppet or representation of yourself in the container
Pour in the honey ( it should cover your poppet, imagine that the honey is “sticking” the other spell ingredients to you, saving the reminder of a memory for last)
Add in the other ingredients one at a time (imagine them surrounding you constantly with hope, vitality, relaxation and a clear mind)
Close the container and optionally seal it with wax, if doing so PLEASE be carful. I don’t want burnt hands or ruined carpet on my conscience.
Throughout the process you should speak this incantation. Repeating it with every step and every new ingredient added.
“To sweeten my life like a breath of fresh air, I live starting now, without worry or care.”
Repeat the spell often in the mirror
( I would suggest every night before bed saying once or twice)
Keep the spell jar out of direct sunlight.
Feel free to change things, add and subtract ingredients, even rewrite the spell. Make this work for you. If you do make a change, put it in the replies so others can see and learn from you.
People with anxiety don’t have a train of thought. We have seven trains on 4 tracks that narrowly avoid each other when the paths cross and all the conductors are screaming.
